ABOUT US

Fresh off a UK-wide Comic Con tour, Lina and the Lions have brought their cinematic sound to the heart of fandom culture, performing to thousands, inspiring crowds, and connecting with fans of all ages and backgrounds. That experience didn’t just fuel their ambition, it sparked their next creative chapter.

Their upcoming album, Of A Third Kind, was born out of that journey. Armed with the same mission to energise, empower, and uplift, Lina and the Lions now enter their boldest chapter yet — a guitar-driven, emotionally introspective record about the alien experience of personal growth. Whether you're seventeen or forty, transformation can feel like an encounter with something entirely unfamiliar. You're no longer who you were, but not yet who you’re becoming. It’s unsettling. It’s powerful. It’s of a third kind.

“Growth is like meeting an alien, it’s uncomfortable, otherworldly, but ultimately life-changing. This album is about meeting that version of yourself and stepping into the unknown.”

Featuring tracks like the brooding highway-rock of “Nearest City” and the nostalgic ache of “17 Yesterday”, this third album sees the band drawing on their alt-rock roots, adding layers of fuzzed-out guitars, anthemic choruses, and deeply personal storytelling. It's both sonically expansive and lyrically intimate, a neon-hued evolution of the 80s-inspired sound that made them stand out.  Lina’s voice is central to it all, unmistakable, soaring, and full of both strength and vulnerability. Her delivery recalls the intensity of Karen O, the pop clarity of Cyndi Lauper, and the melodic warmth of Susanna Hoffs, while remaining entirely her own.

Heavier guitars, cinematic synths, and unfiltered vocals collide in a sound that is equal parts retrowave mysticism and 90s riot-grrrl grit. Their sound has matured into a sleek but emotionally rugged style, channeling influences like The Killers, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Chvrches. It’s a sound built equally for introspection and movement — full of stadium-sized hooks that are both deeply personal and unapologetically catchy.

Lina and the Lions are no strangers to large stages. Their Comic Con tour saw them performing on arena stages across the UK alongside A-list names, consistently turning heads and earning new fans through their unforgettable live presence. What sets them apart isn’t just their songs, it’s the energy they bring. Lina is magnetic on stage, commanding attention with every note, while the band’s chemistry and tight musicianship deliver a show that’s both emotionally resonant and explosively fun. This is a band that doesn’t just play, they captivate.

“They’re the total package: seasoned, original,
and unforgettable.”
