Lina and the Lions - LIVE at Your Event

Stage

We are able to provide a stage for our performance.  We welcome events to use this stage between our sets.  Including the use of several microphones and the PA.  The stage is 60cm high.  With various configurations available.  Our standard and preferred layout is 4m x 4m.  We also provide a 4 post truss system to hang our backdrop, lights and PA system.  

PA Specification

Our standard PA is a 6500 Watt HK Audio LTS System.  A relatively compact and superb sounding system capable of throwing comfortably at distances of 30m and more.  We are pleased to say that the PA system no longer increases the footprint of the overall set up area as we have recently improved the set up so that the sub speakers are situated underneath the stage and the top speakers are flown from our touring truss.

Lighting Specification

As well as our unique touring light backdrop, we also provide LED front lighting for the stage.  This is flown from our touring truss.

Already have a stage…?

At events where a stage is already provided, we have especially designed a unique and efficient set up.  Our own touring drum riser (on wheels) contains everything we need to perform.  This riser is extremely lightweight (even with the drum kit).  Meaning that it can be safely lifted or rolled onto most stages by our team (our 80s Simmons kit is securely attached to the riser).  Wireless guitars means that all that remains of the setup is for Lina’s mic stand to be positioned.  Connection to the Front of House PA is via 2 x XLR connections on stage.  The entire production requires 1 x standard 13a power supply.

Silent sound check - Because we use an electric drum kit, digital guitar amp modellers and in ear monitoring, all of our sound checks can be completed by our team silently.  

A complete setup in less than 10 minutes.  All equipment can be positioned on stage and checked (silently) in under 10 minutes.  Once the performance is complete, the stage can be cleared even faster.

Complete Volume Control - Thanks to our electric 80s Simmons drum kit, digital guitar amp modellers and in ear monitoring, we are able to perform at volumes ranging from silent to something resembling the Death Star exploding!  As well as whatever level in between that is appropriate for your  event.

Set Times

We can offer up to a 60 minute performance.  We can also perform multiple times throughout the day if necessary. Previous events have shown that having us perform a set of 30 minutes, 2-3 times throughout the day works well.  

The sets are made up mostly of songs from our original album Second Nature as well as a few fun covers.  Recent features have been Running Up That Hill, Psycho Killer and Time After Time (all of which are of course featured in Stranger Things).

We are extremely proud to have a team that consists of professionals that are experienced at working not only in live music but in the events industry.  Members of our team have handled productions including West End Theatres, large scale Outdoor Festivals and Arenas.  As well as performing their duties around the world in Denmark, Germany, Sweden, Spain, Switzerland and Hong Kong.
